Service Disabled Veterans Comprehensive Rehabilitation Opportunities Program (SDV/CROP)
Now
more than ever before, there is a critical need to nurture strong relationships
between Service Disabled Veteran Enterprises (SDVE) federal, state and
local governments and majority businesses to stimulate economic growth.
SDV/CROP has been the viable interface needed to stimulate and facilitate
a positive process.
SDV/CROP
established the Association for Service Disabled Veterans, (ASDV), in
1982, dedicated to activities that promote and facilitate the implementation
of SDVE purchasing by government and corporations. ASDV has two primary
missions: To provide public and private organizations with information
on qualified and qualifiable SDVE businesses and to open organization
purchasing doors for SDV business persons, giving them the opportunity
to sell goods and services.
The ASDV
mission reflects a basic philosophy of encouragement and expansion of
opportunity to those persons that have specifically and individually sacrificed
for the security and prosperity of the nation. ASDV's intent is to stimulate
economic growth; to develop enterprises which can provide useful goods
and services at competitive prices, create employment for members of the
service disabled veteran underemployed groups and bring service disabled
veteran owned enterprises into the mainstream of the economy.
