Do No Harm: The Coalition of Americans for Research Ethics - a national coalition of researchers, health care professionals, bioethicists, legal professionals, and others dedicated to the promotion of scientific research and health care which does no harm to human life.

Public Citizen's Health Research Group - A consumer research and advocacy organization founded by Ralph Nader and Sidney Wolfe; site includes clearinghouses and health links. Public Citizen provides oversight concerning drugs, clinical research, medical devices, doctors and hospitals and occupational health from their critical perspective.

Third World Network Biotechnology/Biosafety Page - This page provides a catalog of articles on the relation of biotechnology to the Third World

Mannvernd - Association of Icelanders for Ethics in Science and Medicine - organized opposition to the Icelandic government's Act on a Health Sector Database (HSD). The HSD is slated to contain all medical records for the entire population of Iceland.

Australian Gene Ethics Network - a federation of groups and individuals in Australia that promotes critical discussion and debate on environmental, social, and ethical impacts of genetic engineering technologies. Includes online publications, updates, and a list of links to online documents on specific issues.

The Council for Responsible Genetics - publisher of GeneWATCH, a national bulletin on the implications of biotechnology. Site contains testimony presented to U.S. Congress, position papers, and legislative clearinghouse.

The Center for Genetics and Society - a nonprofit information and public affairs organization working to encourage responsible uses and effective societal governance of the new human genetic and reproductive technologies.

Research!America - an alliance for discoveries in health, information on how research is funded, accomplishments, and links to research agencies and health information web sites
