Codex Alimentarius
Codex Alimentarius is the major international mechanism for encouraging fair international trade in food while promoting the health and economic interest of consumers.

Dr. Hulebak was elected to serve a two-year term as Chair. The announcement was made on July 1 in Geneva, Switzerland, during the 31st Session of the CAC.

The Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC) is an intergovernmental body with over 170 members, within the framework of the Joint Food Standards Programme established by the FAO and WHO.
