U. S. Holocaust Memorial Museum Volunteer Opportunities
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's mission is to remember the millions who perished in the Holocaust and to educate the public about this tragic chapter in history. It takes many people to accomplish this mission, including a dedicated team of volunteers.
National Archives and Records Administration
The National Archives and Records Administration invites undergraduate and graduate-level students to submit applications for our voluntary internship program. Opportunities are available in Washington, D.C., at regional facilities, and at Presidential libraries.
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Department of Commerce
- North East Fisheries Science Center -- Cruises are conducted out of Woods Hole, Massachusetts, in the spring and fall and monitor shell fish resources and perform scientific studies.
- Teachers at Sea Program -- Teachers from elementary school through college go to sea aboard NOAA research and survey ships to work under the tutelage of scientists and crew aboard one of NOAA's 15 ships.
