Dr. Miller is a Program Director in the Technology Development Program at NINDS. He received a Ph.D. in physiology from the University of California, San Francisco in 1980, and a M.B.A. in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1987. Dr. Miller’s scientific research interests included structural and functional studies of synaptic transmission, and cell-cell communication via gap junctions, and he served as vice president of marketing for three manufacturing and wholesale companies. Dr. Miller’s current interests include technology development, genomics, research infrastructure, and translational research.
