How does our little Oshkosh tower stack up against the “big boys” during EAA AirVenture? Traditionally, the EAA AirVenture Tower holds its own against O’Hare and Atlanta:

*OSH/EAA is the busiest airport in the world on these days.

Important Note: The OSH traffic count covers 10 hours of activity, while ORD and ATL are open 24 hours. The OSH airport is closed for four hours each afternoon for the air show, and closes after dark to protect those who are camping next to the runways.

Special EAA operations at the Oshkosh (OSH) tower begin Friday, 7/20/07, and continued until 8 p.m. Sunday, 7/29/07.
