Oregon Prevention Resource Center

State: Oregon

Description: OREGON PREVENTION RESOURCE CENTER Oregon has designed a folder of information on workplace substance abuse issues targeted especially at small business owners. Included in the folder are model policies, resource guides, information on EAPs in general and on the specific services and goals of the Oregon Small Business EAP, and two employer's guides. One guide was developed by the U.S. Department of Labor and the second by a law firm specializing in labor and employment law. The guides provide information on the steps and issues to be considered in addressing the problem of workplace substance abuse. The folder is available to Oregon businesses through the State's drug and alcohol information clearinghouse. Contact: Oregon Prevention Resource Center 555 24th Place, N.E.
