2008 Changes of Command

Congratulations to the incoming commanding officers and thanks for a job well done to the outgoing commanding officers of the following ships:

David Starr Jordan - LCDR Demian Bailey assummed command from LCDR Keith Roberts on August 5 while the ship was in port in San Francisco, CA.

CDR Hoshlyk and CDR Francisco at change of commandOscar Dyson - CDR Michael J. Hoshlyk assumed command of OSCAR DYSON from CDR Michael D. Francisco on July 9 in Dutch Harbor, AK.

Ka'imimoana - LCDR James A. Illg assumed command of KA’IMIMOANA from CDR Mark H. Pickett on July 14 at Kealakekua Bay, HI. 

Ronald H. Brown - CAPT Gerd Glang assumed command from CDR Carl Groeneveld on June 19 in Charleston, South Carolina.

Delaware II - Master Stephen Wagner assumed command from CDR Richard Wingrove on June 11 in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.

LCDR Hopkins and LCDR Boland salute at the change of commandMiller Freeman - LCDR Michael L. Hopkins assumed command from LCDR Mark J. Boland on June 10.

Oregon II - Master Dave Nelson assumed command from CDR Ricardo Ramos on May 30 at the ship’s home port in Pascagoula, Mississippi. 

John N. Cobb - LT Chad Carey assumed command from LCDR Peter Fischel on April 13 at the Coast Guard station in Juneau, Alaska. 

Fairweather - CDR Doug Baird assumed command from CDR Andrew Beaver on March 31.
