Jamboree Location

The jamboree will be held in Building 100, Room 149, at the DOE Joint Genome Institute, 2800 Mitchell Drive, Walnut Creek. Please check in with the receptionist when you arrive. A shuttle bus will take you from Berkeley to JGI each morning and return you each evening.

Laptops

Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops. JGI will have laptops on hand for participants who opt not to bring their own. Participants will have use of these laptops for the duration of the Jamboree, including overnight use at the hotel. JGI's IT group will give guidance regarding setup at the beginning of the first day's session, but IT cannot provide individual support for personal laptops.

Visitor badges

The shuttle will drop participants off at Building 100. Visitor badges will be issued at the door.
