| Current Status Comments:
The NC Building Code Council has adopted the 2003 IECC with NC amendments effective June 1, 2007. The amendments include adoption of ASHRAE 90.1-2004. Chapter 11 of the 2003 IRC has also been adopted and includes NC amendments. The proposed effective date for the 2009 NC State Building Codes is January 1, 2009.
