This is a cancer-specific section of MedlinePlus, an online service of the
National Library of Medicine. MedlinePlus gives access to medical literature

NIHSeniorHealth.gov
This site makes aging-related health information easily accessible for
people seeking reliable, easy-to-understand online health information. It was
developed by the National Institute on Aging and the National Library of
Medicine, with information from the NCI and other components of the NIH. Topics
include breast, colorectal, lung, and prostate cancers.
OncoLink
OncoLink, from the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania, presents cancer
information for patients and health care professionals.
Oncology Tools
This U.S. Food and Drug Administration site contains information on
cancer and approved cancer drugs. It includes summaries on different types of
cancer, regulatory information, and other cancer-related resources.
Pancreatic Cancer Research Map
The Pancreatic Cancer Research Map enables the community to find and search a comprehensive list of investigators and research projects relevant to pancreatic cancer. The Map is a collaborative project of NCI and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN).
Clinical Practice Guidelines
This section of the Web site for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality
offers agency-supported clinical practice guidelines as well as
guidelines on other topics.
National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN)
NCCN is a not-for-profit alliance of 19 major U.S. cancer centers. Its Web site
includes the extensive "NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology" (free,
online registration is required) and the NCCN/American Cancer Society
"Treatment Guidelines for Patients." Some of the treatment guidelines are also
available in Spanish.
National Guideline Clearinghouse
This site contains evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. It is sponsored
by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality in partnership with
the American Medical Association and the American Association of Health Plans.
National Marrow Donor Program
The National Marrow Donor Program was created to improve the effectiveness of
the search for bone marrow donors. It has a registry of potential bone marrow
donors and provides free information on bone marrow transplantation, peripheral
blood stem cell transplantation, and unrelated-donor stem cell transplantation
including the use of umbilical cord blood.

This site provides information on pediatric cancers and

Medicine (NCCAM)
NCCAM, at the National Institutes of Health, facilitates and supports basic and

Programme of Action for Cancer Therapy (PACT)
PACT was created by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in response to the developing world's growing cancer crisis. PACT aims to help developing countries build a comprehensive, sustainable cancer control program, integrating prevention, screening, treatment, and palliative care.
