FBI Director Robert S. Mueller, III, today announced the appointment of Lynne A. Hunt to Assistant Director, Inspection Division.

While serving at FBI Headquarters, Mrs. Hunt was assigned to the Legal Counsel Division and then supervised white collar crime matters. In 1989, she was transferred to the Washington Metropolitan Field Office where she supervised white collar crime investigations, then, in 1991 she was transferred to the Phoenix Division where she also supervised white collar crime investigations. In 1995, Mrs. Hunt was designated Chief of the Health Care Fraud Unit where she supervised the FBI's Health Care Fraud investigative program.
