ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- TCON
Concurrent Engineering Software enables graphical user-interface
programs to create full 3-dimensional thermal models
- Reduces modeling time to one-third
- Provides better accuracy in
modeling
- True concurrent engineering
for thermal applications
|
COMMERCIALIZATION
- Licenses of the software system
have been sold to numerous US and foreign companies
- Used on commercial GEO &
LEO satellites and terrestrial & space electronics cooling
|
GOVERNMENT/SCIENCE
APPLICATIONS
- NASA Goddard Space Flight Center
(GSFC) has purchased a derivative of the software code, applied
to thruster plum effects, now that it has been applied to five different
NASA spacecraft.
- The TCON derivative has
had many NASA applications, including being used to design of James
Webb Space Telescope (JWST) and to help resolve a post-launch anomaly
on the TERRA spacecraft.
