Remarks before the Leadership Council of the NAACP’s 99th Annual Convention


SUMMARY

Ronald Langston, National Director of the U.S. Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency, addressed the Leadership Council of the NAACP during their 99th Annual Convention on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Mr. Langston discussed the Department’s digital television transition initiative, the state of minority business, and the importance of fostering business-to-business linkages between U.S. minority firms and African firms in a global economy.
