DESCRIPTION
THE DETAILSAccording to law enforcement information, Angelica Gonzales was traveling with her sister-in-law's two children, Luz Karina Campos and Blanca Lillian Campos (pictured below), from their native El Salvador to the United States with the assistance of a hired third party. The three females are believed to have crossed into the United States near Reynosa, Mexico, in early April of 2007, and may have died from exposure to the elements on or about April 8, 2007. It is believed the three female bodies were left under a tree (not buried) and covered with a plastic sheet in Brooks County, Texas, a vast and rural area near the Falfurrias checkpoint.
