All residents of Erie County are welcome to use our Public Health Centers. The main purpose of our centers is to control communicable disease in our community. For this reason, there is no charge to the patient for the following services:
Some health insurances (including Medicaid) will pay for Immunizations, TB, or HIV. We will bill your insurance for these services. If the bill is denied, there will be no bill to you. We do not bill the insurance company for STD screening or treatment.

In addition to the above services, the following services are charged to the patient. The cost is based on a sliding fee scale, according to your income. Your health insurance may pay for these services.
You may qualify for health insurance. We will assist you with the application.
