International INSC Partners

INSC in Russia

• The RMINSC (Russian MINATOM International Nuclear Safety Center) has been established in Moscow by the Russian Ministery of Atomic Energy (MINATOM). Together with the RMINSC, a number of Joint Projects on nuclear safety has been established.

INSC in Ukrainia

• The Ukrainian INSC Web Site was established at Kyiv State University in Kyiv, Ukraine. This web site provides access to detailed data on Ukrainian nuclear facilities and nuclear safety research issues.

INSC in Lithuania

• A Lithuanian INSC Web Site was established at the Lithuanian Energy Institute in Kaunas, Lithuania. This web site is under development and will provide access to detailed data on Lithuanian nuclear facilities.

INSC in Kazakhstan

• A web site was established at the Kazakhstan Nuclear Technology Safety Center. It provides information on nuclear safety issues in Kazakhstan.

Other Collaborators

• The Nuclear Safety Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IBRAE) maintains a web site and provides access to detailed information on the Kola nuclear power plant. This data was collected and installed using USDOE funds and in collaboration with the US INSC. Other projects resulted in the establishment of a materials properties database for high temperatures to be used for the simulation of reactor accidents.
