Weather Related / Emergency Closure
Given the latest weather, it's important to pass along a few thoughts and reminders as we head into winter in Cleveland.
First and foremost, we want you to be safe during foul weather. To that end, you may be dismissed early as conditions merit. Once home, you can check on the status of the Federal Building (open/closed/delayed opening) during inclement weather and/or other emergencies by calling (216) 902-6185 to hear the latest status of work hours or turn on the local radio and/or television stations for the latest updates.
Please do not call the D9 Command Center. The Command Center often gets many direct calls concerning the AJC building status. As much as the Command Center would like to help, these calls take valuable time away from SAR controllers during rescue cases. The Command Center will monitor weather, confer with all agencies heads and update the message if needed. The Command Center's list of Radio/News stations is as follows:
