Awards & Recognitions

Numerous national and local planning organizations have bestowed their top planning awards on NCPC’s signature initiatives in recognition of the agency’s efforts to preserve and enhance the extraordinary resources of the National Capital Region.

In recent years, NCPC’s Memorials and Museums Master Plan, National Capital Urban Design and Security Plan, and Comprehensive Plan for the National Capital: Federal Elements, have each won several awards. In addition, the agency’s Capitals Alliance program and Circulator transit system have been recognized as examples of excellent project planning.

We are proud of the recognition of our peers and remain committed to providing the highest level of professional planning as we work to preserve the capital’s iconic treasures and public spaces.
