What is RSS?

Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a free service offered by FCIC to make it easier for you to keep up with consumer news and information that is important to you.

Why use RSS? How do I get started?

RSS is faster and more direct than the conventional methods of browsing or searching for information on a website.Check out our feeds below and once you've decided which one(s) are right for you, just copy and paste the URL/link into your RSS reader one at a time. And if you're new to RSS, read our easy instructions on how to subscribe to RSS.

  1. First, check the reader tutorial for its particular usage instructions.
  2. Copy the URL/links above that interest you.
  3. Paste the URLs into your reader.
  4. Click “Sign Up” for our RSS feed service
  5. One to three times a week we’ll send new content to your RSS reader.
  6. The reader will show items as unread as most email programs do.
  7. To stay current with consumer news, open your reader and click on items of interest.
