Mission

The international network of Nuclear Structure and Decay Data evaluators (NSDD) is a group of international nuclear data centers coordinated by the IAEA with the main responsibility lying with the United States Nuclear Data Program (USNDP) and National Nuclear Data Center, Brookhaven National Laboratory. The NSDD is responsible for the evaluation and updating of nuclear structure data contained in the Evaluated Nuclear Structure Data File (ENSDF).

Meetings

NSDD members meet about once every two years to discuss current evaluation status, evaluation responsibility, processing code needs, as well as ENSDF formats. Priority activities for the following two years are also planned. The NSDD meetings are held at various data centers or at the IAEA Headquarters in Vienna.
