Public Affairs Division

The Public Affairs Division within GSA’s Central Office is the official contact point for the U.S. General Services Administration for all national media inquiries about agency programs, policies and people. We respond to questions from the media, including requests for interviews with senior staff about GSA programs, products, initiatives, people, policies and success stories and arrange press conferences, distribute press releases, develop media kits, and provide appropriate background information as needed.

Media Inquiries

Media inquiries should be directed to the GSA Press Office in Washington, DC, which is open weekdays, 8 a.m to 6 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, except on federal holidays.  The GSA Press Office may be reached at (202) 501-1231.

GSA provides Public Affairs experts in every Region as well as in Washington, DC, all of whom serve as the agency’s official point of contact for media inquiries about regional GSA programs, policies and people and are particularly helpful in addressing media inquiries about GSA projects and activities in their geographic areas.
