The U.S. Commercial Service and The National Association of Manufacturers Invite you to explore exporting to Europe through a free webinar!

WHY EUROPE?
• The EU and the U.S. account for the largest bilateral trade relationship in the world.

• Between 2005 and 2008, 29 percent of the growth in U.S. exports was to Europe -- more than to Asia-Pacific, Canada and Mexico, or South and Central America.

• In 2007, exports from the U.S. to the EU exceeded those to China by six times.

• If you export to Canada, you can export to Europe.

• With the realignment of the Dollar to the Euro and high cost of shipping from Asia, U.S. products have become very competitive.

•  Some key opportunities include the automotive, construction, chemicals, defense, electrical power systems, environment, biomedical, IT, security and telecommunications sectors and the manufacturing sectors that support these and other industries.

Webinar Speakers:

  • Israel Hernandez -- Director General, U.S. Commercial Service, U.S. Dept. of Commerce
  • Frank Vargo -- Vice President, International Economic Affairs, National Association of Manufacturers
  • Jonathan Bensky – Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs, U.S. Mission to the European Union
  • Paul Kullman – Senior Commercial Officer, U.S. Commercial Service, U.S. Dept. of Commerce
  • Reginal Miller – Regional Director, Central/Eastern Europe, U.S. Commercial Service, U.S. Dept of Commerce
  • U.S. Business Representative doing business in Europe.

Find out how the U.S. Commercial Service and The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) have teamed up to help NAM members find new opportunities in Europe.  This free one hour webinar will kick-off "Export Europe!" -- a new initiative to facilitate NAM members and prospective NAM members in expanding their European sales.
