The American International School of Monrovia

Enrollment:  At the beginning of the 2007-2008 school year, enrollment was 30.  Enrollment is expected to increase rapidly.

Facilities:  The School is located in a residential area approximately 5 miles from downtown Monrovia in a section called Congotown.  The large physical plant is situated on a 6-acre site. Eight classrooms have been renovated.  There are playground areas in front of and adjacent to the School and the gymnasium will be renovated during the academic year.  A new media center will open during the Fall of 2007.

Finances:  For the 2007-2008 school year, the annual tuition rates are as follows: PK: $ 4,000; Kdg.: $ 6,000; grades 1–8: $ 10,000.  There is also a one-time registration fee of $2,000 for academic year 2007-2008 and a capital fee of $2,000 for Kdg.-grade 8.  The capital fee will increase to $3,000 beginning with the 2008-2009 year.  (All fees are quoted in U.S. dollars.)
