launch, 75 hp engine, length 64.5 feet, beam 14 feet, draft 5.5 feet.
Built in 1916 at Bay City, Michigan. Acquired from Navy in 1920, ex
M.B. MIKAWE. This vessel was used as a training vessel in the late
1920’s for Coast and Geodetic Survey deck officers. Destroyed
by fire and expended October 27, 1939. In service 1920-1939 on Atlantic
coast. Source of name unknown.
