The Women's Entrepreneurship Summit on September 23, 2003 was a fabulous
success! Over 1,000 women small business owners attended the Summit to hear
from federal and local leaders across the country on various topics of interest
to women entrepreneurs, such as access to capital, marketing tips, acquiring
federal contracts, and entering global markets.

In addition to the many keynote addresses, breakout sessions,
exhibitors, and plenary sessions, the Summit featured a feedback session
from participants that addressed their concerns, challenges, and policy
and practical business interests in the coming years. Many
thanks to Marianne Hudson of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and
Kellyanne Conway of the polling companyTM/ WomanTrend, who conducted
these polls.
