To whom it may concern;

I am writing in support of the guidelines proposed by the Access Board for detectable warnings and accessible pedestrian signals.

As a low vision cane user, I highly value all the information I can get to facilitate my street crossing decisions. I travel to work from my home in a near suburb to the heart of Boston 5 days per week. This involves a 15 minute walk on either end of my bus ride and crossings at all kinds of intersections. In addition, I walk and use public transit to shop and recreate in my 'spare' time. I don't want to become a traffic fatality! You know the reputation of those Boston drivers!

Sincerely,
Cindy Wentz
