I hope that you have received the AIA comments. There is one item I'd like to add to those comments, or you can at least consider it as a separate item in your deliberations.

In the issues dealing with "Changes in Level" Concrete flatwork will crack, and once the concrete cracks, there exists a level change that is automatically a violation of the requirements as they are proposed. This then becomes a maintenance nightmare, and a potential source for litigation that is not reasonable.

Please consider this comment along with the rest.
