The Agency for International Development, Foreign
Agricultural Service, and Farm Service Agency - Commodity Operations releases
the following information regarding Freight Bid Entry System (FBES) training and
Export Bid Entry System (EBES) for all Ocean Carriers, Freight Forwarders, and
Commodity Vendors involved in food aid related exports:
The FBES training will be held over three days, November 1st-3rd, in
the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, DC. The first two days will serve
as separate SSL trainings, with the third day reserved for Freight Forwarders.
The EBES training will similarly be held over three days, November 6th-8th,
at the Kansas City Commodity Office in Kansas City, MO. SSL and Commodity
Vendors may indicate their choice of day to attend, and KCCO will do their best
to accommodate this choice. You will find additional information, links to the
registration forms which are due no later than Tuesday, October 10th, general
visitor information, and access instructions for the training locations on these
