From 19 September 2006 through 3 November 2006 [review period now expired], the public is invited to comment on the public review draft of CCSP Synthesis and Assessment Product 2.2, North American carbon budget and implications for the global carbon cycle [also known as the Prototype State of the Carbon Cycle Report (SOCCR) focused on North America].  See the invitation letter from CCSP Acting Director, Dr. Bill Brennan.

Links to the public review draft of the report are provided in the table below.  These include links to the entire report as a single file [5.5 Mb], as well as to individual portions of the report.  All of the files are in portable document format (PDF). If you do not have the proper version of Acrobat Reader on your computer, click on the icon in the left hand panel to visit the Adobe web site.

When submitting comments, please follow the instructions. Be sure to include complete contact information so that you can be consulted for clarification, if necessary. 

To be considered, your comments should be emailed to by COB 3 November 2006, referencing "Comments on SAP 2.2 draft" and your surname in the subject line (e.g., Comments on SAP 2.2 draft: Smith). Re-label your comments file attachment with your surname to help with the collation process (e.g., <SAP2-2 draft-Smith.doc>).  Please email your comments to the specified address.  Do not submit comments directly to lead authors.
