Description:
Take the ferry to the country and visit two of Vashon’s oldest growing/propagating nurseries, plus a small farm with a wide variety of culinary and medicinal herbs, salad greens, cut flowers and other seasonal produce. Please call ahead to pre-order cut flower bouquets. Find corn for sale on the porch in late August. U-pick blueberries, Asian pears and filbert nuts. Both nurseries have rare and hard-to-find trees, shrubs and perennials. Look for the large, early 1900’s style building on the west side of Vashon’s main highway at the very center of the island, 7.5 miles from either ferry dock.
Payment: In addition to cash and checks, we accept credit and/or debit cards.
