Mr. Zante and his brother started the farm in 1927. Loggers cleared the big timbers and took the logs, leaving big stumps. They worked until the late 30s clearing the whole 20 acres with hands and horses. They raised peas, lettuce, cabbage, etc. selling to warehouses, groceries and restaurants until Mr. Zante passed away in 1985. Now part of our farm supplies our farm stand with great variety of berries, vegetables, apples, pears, garlic, herbs & eggs, plus beautiful flowers. From Woodinville, Hwy 522 exit, south onto NE 171st. Pass NE 175th, farm is 2 blocks south on right. Open 10am-7pm.
