- Design, management and analysis of field measurements of energy savings resulting from retrofits to single-family dwellings, and development of an energy audit for single-family dwellings which properly accounts for interactions among retrofits;
- Analyses of decentralized small-cogeneration systems;
- Energy and economic analysis of add-on heat pumps applied to single-family dwelling heating applications, and development of an add-on heat pump analysis technique used by gas and electric utilities; and
- Evaluation of the efficacy of new building thermal efficiency codes and standards.
