Upcoming Overseas Export Control Seminars

The Bureau of Industry and Security, in conjunction with the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service, is sponsoring a series of seminars in Asia. The U.S. Export Controls Seminar will be held in Japan on June 23, 2003 and South Korea on June 26, 2003, and in Singapore on June 30, 2003.

These seminars are beneficial for companies that use U.S. origin parts and components for manufacturing and assembly, companies that use U.S. origin systems, software, or technology to develop foreign-made products, and companies that re-export those products, software and U.S. origin items.

In conjunction with the seminars, attendees can register to have one-on-one consultations with the U.S. delegation at the U.S. Embassy in each country. For registration and more information on these seminars, see the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service program information.
