Melton Hill Reservoir Set For Drawdown

TVA will temporarily lower the level of Melton Hill Reservoir Wednesday,
March 22, through Sunday, March 26, to assist with a reservoir cleanup along the
shoreline.
TVA will hold the reservoir between elevations 790 and 792 feet during this time.
The River Rescue cleanup, which is normally held on the first weekend in April at Melton
Hill, Fort Loudoun and Watts Bar Reservoirs, will begin on Melton Hill on Saturday,
March 25. TVA will begin raising the level of Melton Hill on March 26 to accommodate a
Regatta on April 1, but the shoreline cleanup as part of the River Rescue will continue
the weekend of April 1 on the three reservoirs.
