Fix |
Equations clarified for control elements that implement
Gain and Scale. |
Fix |
Air mixture data corrected |
Feb 2006 |
Fix |
Repaired zone volume adjustment calculation performed after changing level
height via recently modified Level Data dialog box. Calculation was correct in versions
prior to modification of the Level Data dialog box. |
Fix |
Calculate "Absolute Pressure" of Steady State Weather properties every time the user
modifies the "Altitude" on the Location tab of the Weather and Wind Parameters property sheet. |
Fix |
Could not delete duct junctions connected both upward, downward and horizontally.
Attempts to do so left an undefined junction on the SketchPad. |
Fix |
NS duct segments could be inadvertently created on single-cell length
EW ducts. |
Fix |
Program crashed when opening schedules in the Library Manager. |
Jan 2006 |
New feature |
Enable find/replace of wind-related parameter for paths and junctions |
New feature |
Enable multiple instances of ContamW to be run at the same time |
Dec 2005 |
New feature |
Generate PLD file when Simulation - Create ContamX file command is
executed. Useful for "manual" creation of WPC files. |
Fix |
File - Save As now provides current file name as the default |
Fix |
Update default concentration of species when properties affecting
this value are changed. |
Nov 2005 |
Fix |
Enable placement of contaminant sensors in the ambient zone. |
New feature |
New level data dialog box. |
New feature |
Enable double-click of list items such as day schedules to edit. |
Fix |
Change default terminal loss coefficient from 0.001 to 0.125 |
Fix |
Enable use of "F" key to place flow paths in the floor above a zone. |
Fix |
Copy/paste of a level below current level now maintains the height
of the copied level. |
ContamX changes

Type |
Description |
Feb 2006 |
Critical Fix |
Corrected the stack pressure calculation for duct terminals which were modified
with the introduction of version 2.4. This could have caused airflow oscillations
within passive stack ducts, i.e., no forced airflow through the duct, with terminals
in the ambient and using CONTAM weather files to affect a varying outdoor temperature. |
New Feature |
ContamX will create multiple CONTAMX2.log files if multiple instances of
the program are run concurrently. The file name will be modified to CONTAMX-##.log
for up to 20 concurrent instances.
|
New Feature |
Provide PRJ file name in title bar of ContamX Simulation Control Dialog box.
This will also be displayed in the Windows Task Bar. |
Fix |
Corrected error determining max contaminant concentrations while reading WPC file. |
Dec 2005 |
Fix |
Mass of contaminants leaving the conditioned zones was
being incorrectly reported in the CSM file. |
Fix |
Removed "Max relative imbalance" message when air change
rates are "very low." |
Nov 2005 |
Critical Fix |
Contaminants of WPC files were not being accounted for
during simulation. |
Critical Fix |
Interpolation of contaminant concentrations was not taking
place between records in CTM files. |
New feature |
Created new 2.4 WPC file format that allows for the specification
of wind pressures as opposed to the absolute pressure at
the paths. The old 2.1 format is still valid too. |
Fix |
Enable use of DVF and WPC files in the same simulation. |
