Before joining NOAA in November 2006, ET Martin was employed by the University of Miami as a Marine Technician. In his six years experience, he worked jointly with UM and Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute serving aboard the R/V Walton Smith, R/V Seaward Johnson, R/V Seaward Johnson II, and R/V Weather Bird II. With NOAA, Martin has served aboard GORDON GUNTER. He resides in Charleston, SC
