T-16 is the nuclear physics group in the Theoretical Division of Los Alamos National Laboratory. T-16 covers a wide scope of nuclear physics: Basic physics research in T-16 includes QCD at high density and high energy-density, few- to many-body nuclear physics, nuclear astrophysics, and neutrino physics. Applied physics encompasses nuclear physics relevant to Threat Reduction and Stockpile Stewardship, including studies of nuclear reactions and nuclear structure and providing nuclear data to the Laboratory and Nation.
