Description The project will develop preliminary guideline Integrity Management (IM) procedures for offshore wind turbine facilities appropriate for use in US waters. These procedures will include guidance on frequency and method of inspection and will address the platform structure, turbine tower, turbine and housing, and turbine blades.
Progress Contract was awarded May 27, 2008. Project kick-off meeting was held June 9, 2008. Task 1 (Survey of Existing Data) has been completed. The project is proceeding according to schedule.
