Description | This is a Joint Industry Project (JIP). The purpose of this project is to develop a practical Knowledge Based System (KBS) for reliability assessment of marine pipelines. The KBS will be used to develop plans for the inspection and maintenance of pipelines. The KBS will be designed to interface with pipeline databases being developed by the U.S. Minerals Management Service and pipeline owners and operators. |
