Description The objective was to assess the design required for drilling and facilities located in the Norton Sound, Alaska area. This was a Joint Industry Project (JIP) sponsored by nine oil companies, Chevron acting as the lead company. The project will provide insights into the environmental design criteria to insure safe and pollution-free operations.
