Teaching for Change is a nonprofit organization with local and national programs designed to promote social justice through public education. In the DC area, Teaching for Change sponsors the ground-breaking Tellin’ Stories Project which strengthens parent power in schools by building alliances among Latino and African American parents and supporting organizing efforts.
