A voluntary partnership between various freight industry sectors and EPA that establishes incentives for fuel efficiency improvements and greenhouse gas emissions reductions. - Voluntary Diesel Retrofit Program
An EPA program that provides information regarding retrofitting fleets, including fleet assessments, funding sources, example programs, and easy-to-use calculators.

- Vehicle Buyer's Guide for Fleets
A guide developed by the U.S. Department of Energy to educate fleet managers and policy makers about alternative fuels and vehicles, including pricing and technical specifications for light- and heavy-duty alternative fuel vehicles, alternative fueling station locations, and research on state purchasing incentives and laws.

- Illinois Green Fleets
A voluntary program in Illinois where businesses, government agencies, and other organizations gain recognition and additional marketing opportunities for having clean vehicles in their fleet. - King County Metro
Provides information about how King County Metro is replacing its bus fleet with hybrid vehicles, as well as its integration of zero-emission electric trolley buses. - Texas Clean Fleet Program
Provides information on the Texas Clean Fleet program that requires fleet owners operating in nonattainment areas to purchase a percentage of low emission vehicles when adding or replacing vehicles in their fleet.

- Diesel Technology Forum
A forum dedicated to raising awareness about diesel engines, highlighting improvements in fuel efficiency and emissions, continuing progress to reduce the environmental impact of the existing fleet of diesel engines, and related information on clean diesel applications. - Greener Fleets: Fuel Economy Progress and Prospects (PDF) (40KB)
