DECK

The Deck Department personnel have the most diverse jobs aboard this ship. They operate the many cranes and winches which load everything we require for a project, from food stores to scientific gear. They are responsible for the rigging and deployment of scientific equipment such as surface and subsurface floats. They operate and man our rescue boat. And most importantly they are responsible for tying the ship up at the end of the project.
