The State of Tennessee has requested that EPA parallel process the proposed SIP revision for adequacy, meaning that we will start the public comment period for the adequacy of the SIP prior to the State completing its SIP adoption process. As in every adequacy review, the public has 30 days to comment on the adequacy of this SIP. Should there be any significant changes to the SIP when the State formally submits the final version to EPA, we will restart the 30 day public comment period for adequacy. However, if the State submits the current proposed SIP as the final version to EPA, there will not be another comment period before EPA makes its adequacy finding.

Please note that all of the budgets for Merced County and the 2008 budget for San Joaquin County were updated with the most current assumptions as described in Appendix D of the California Air Resources Board Staff Report available at:
http://www.arb.ca.gov/planning/sip/2007sip/sanjoaquin/confbudget.pdf.
Although the State's RFP plan for San Joaquin Valley 8-hour ozone in Appendix D does not make the required adjustment for pre-1990 motor vehicle program emissions reductions, the State has submitted a corrected RFP demonstration, which is available under bullet 5 (Additional Technical Information Supporting Reasonable Further Progress Demonstration) at:
http://www.arb.ca.gov/planning/sip/2007sip/sjv8hr/sjvozone.htm.
