1. Charlotte: International Search for Fugitive Ends

Fugitive Cesar Armando Laurean, wanted for the murder of USMC Lance Corporal Maria Lauterbach and her unborn baby, was captured in Mexico. Full Story

2. San Diego: US Customs Inspector Sentenced on Kidnapping Charges

Former U.S. Customs Inspector John Alan Carman was sentenced for his role in a conspiracy to kidnap a person in a foreign country. Full Story

3. Seattle: Physician Found Guilty of Bomb Threats

Kou Wei Chiu, a Tennessee physician, was found guilty of calling in bomb threats to delay the take-off of his plane. Full Story

4. Buffalo: Twelve Members of Operating Engineers Local 17 Indicted

Twelve high ranking officers and members of Operating Engineers Local 17 were indicted on multiple charges including extortion, workplace sabotage and other labor racketeering crimes. Full Story
