EX-IM BANK EXPANDS FINANCING TO BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA

The Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank) is open for private sector transactions in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Ex-Im Bank will now consider business for short- and medium-term transactions in the private sector. These changes in the Ex-Im Bank's cover policy became effective October 24, 2002.

Ex-Im Bank has a regional office in Zagreb, Croatia under the Southeast Europe Initiative, which looks to develop business opportunities in the region. Ex-Im Bank shares its regional office with the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC).
