Access to the Overseas Briefing Center

Any person enrolled in training at the George P. Shultz National Foreign

Affairs Training Center (Foreign Service Institute (FSI)) will receive an FSI access badge.

 

DURING REGULAR HOURS: Individuals without a Department of State or FSI access badge (such as family members) will be admitted to FSI's Overseas Briefing Center (OBC) with a photo ID during regular weekday hours (8:15 a.m. - 5 p.m.). To be admitted, please contact OBC first, and we will put your name on the FSI visitor's list for easy access. Contact OBC at (703) 302-7277or email FSIOBCINFOCENTER@state.gov  

AFTER HOURS: ANYONE NOT HOLDING A DEPARTMENT OF STATE BADGE MUST PRE-REGISTER FOR ENTRY AFTER 5:00 PM on WEEKDAYS AND ON SATURDAYS. Call 703 302-7277 or e-mail: Overseas Briefing Center.
