GrantsNet
Providing grant information to current and prospective HHS grantees

Welcome to GrantsNet
GrantsNet Home

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is the Federal governments principal agency for protecting the health of Americans and providing essential human services nationally and internationally, especially for those who are least able to help themselves. In support of its mission, HHS awards grants for more than 300 programs and has a budget of $250 billion, making it the largest grant-awarding agency in the Federal government. GrantsNet is designed to help the public navigate through the departments multiple websites that provide information about grants.

GrantsNet is the first stop grant seekers should make on the Internet to learn about how to access resources at HHS. Through GrantsNet, the public can link to the grant offices of the 11 Operating Divisions (OPDIVs) that comprise HHS, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes of Health, and the Administration for Children and Families, to name a few.

The site is designed to assist prospective and current grantees with information about funding opportunities, grants policy, existing awards, support for grantees and other resources. It provides useful information on administering grant awards, such as the Office of Management and Budget Circulars, the Code of Federal Regulations, including HHS regulations, and other pertinent policy information. GrantsNet also provides links to the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA), the Federal Register, NIH Guide to Grants and Contracts, HRSA Preview, and other grant resources available in all of the HHS operating divisions. Additional links to resources such as Tips for Writing Grant Proposals and Grants.gov are also available through the site.

The HHS Office of Grants (OG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of this website. Feel free to send comments and suggestions to Grants.Net@hhs.gov.
