The Office of Disability Adjudication and Review (ODAR) has ten regional offices, 141 hearing
offices, a national hearing center, and five satellite offices. There are approximately
1,100 Administrative Law Judges and 4,900 support staff
in the field organization. Additionally, administrative
law judges may travel to other sites such as local
Social Security offices to conduct hearings if needed.
NOTE: Requests for reconsideration,
hearings, and Appeals Council reviews should, in
general, be requested through our network of local
Social Security field offices. To obtain information
